When you think of the name Perry, you automatically think of a little Gospel group out of the mountains of North Georgia who were known as, "God's Little People", with a vision that George Perry had, little did he know that God would eventually form 3 separate ministries, Libbi Perry Stuffle who has continued on with The Perrys as you know today, Randy & Mary Perry and Debra Perry & Jaidyn's Call.
The Perry's started in 1970 with siblings, Debra, Randy & Libbi and eventually came around little George a few years later. Debra came off the road in 1988 and Randy departed the group in 1994 to pursue his preaching ministry. When George Perry passed away, the Patriarch of the family, it put a fresh desire in Debra's life to fall in love with Southern Gospel music, once again. Debra Perry & Jaidyn's Call was started in 2010 by her and her husband, Christopher Reed.
They named their group in honor of their disabled Grandson, Jaidyn, which has a condition called Hydranencephaly and was told if he survived birth, he would probably pass away within the first year. What a miracle the Lord has given and they're so thankful to let you know that Jaidyn turned an amazing 18 years old on August 27, 2024. All praise goes to God! Jaidyn has no upper portion of his brain and is profoundly disabled. He can't walk, talk, crawl and is blind but has a laughter and smile that is so contagious and will light up any room. Jaidyn's Call ministry is to sing but to also share the testimony of their journey with little Jaidyn and their daughter Ashley. If you want good singing, a great and powerful testimony, you’ll want to have Debra Perry & Jaidyn's Call at your next service or event!
Some of the venues that Debra Perry & Jaidyn's Call have been a part of is Daystar's Gospel Music Showcase with Guy Penrod, RFD TV, Dollywood and have been a main stage artist, at the National Quartet Convention. In 2021 they were also nominated in the Top 10 Category for Favorite Trio of the Year according to the Singing News Fans. The group has had 20 Singing News Top 80 songs with 16 of them reaching the Top 40 and 1 Top 20 song! This ministry has also come to see many souls won to Christ, which is their main mission.
Along with the singing ministry of Debra Perry & Jaidyn's Call, Debra's husband, Christopher is also an evangelist.
Thirty years can seem like a lifetime to many, but to others it’s just the beginning. That’s how Tim, Mark, Carl, andDavid felt in 2011 when they joined voices to create that great Southern Gospel quartet sound of Justified Quartet! Individually, each of these truly gifted and accomplished men have shared their talents and love of Southern Gospel music across the state. Combined, they have over 30 years of experience that shines through each and every time they take the stage!
Every great quartet possess a solid foundation and Justified Quartet is no exception! Tim Caldwell provides that solid ground with his smooth bass vocals. Growing up with east Tennessee roots, Tim fell in love with Southern Gospel music at a very young age. That deep love found him playing drums for the popular Calvarymen Quartet, singing with the vocal group Chosen, and partnering with a long time friend as co-owner of Northwind Recording Studio. Tim lives in his childhood hometown of Swartz Creek, Michigan, with his daughter Kelsie.
Born and raised in Michigan, Mark Jacoby has been singing gospel music most of his life. For over a decade, he blessed listeners as a member of Praise Quartet and then spent another decade singing with The Calvarymen Quartet. Mark’s incredible baritone vocals glue together that warm sound that Justified Quartet fans have grown to love! Mark and his wife Deana make their home in Akron, Michigan, where they are full-time farmers. They have three children and a beautiful granddaughter.
Southern Gospel music took root in Carl Ledford at the tender age of six. Those roots remained strong throughout the years while on stage with groups such as The Gospelmen, The Calvarymen, and One Destiny. Passionate for sharing the Message of Christ through song, Carl also served as worship leader at his church from 2001 – 2011. Carl now blesses Justified Quartet with his strong lead vocals as well as his God given writing talent. Carl and his wife Tracey live in Flushing, Michigan. They share 5 children and have 4 wonderful grandchildren.
Introduced to Southern Gospel music in 1993, David Potts found himself undeniably drawn to the quartet sound. Before joining Justified Quartet, David was a member of The Gospelmen Quartet, the “go to man” for many groups in need of an occasional fill-in tenor singer, and then later with Reconciled Quartet. David is currently an active member of his local church. He joins the choir and praise team on stage when he is not traveling the country with Justified Quartet. David’s amazing voice adds that element of excitement only a gospel tenor can bring to the stage! David and his wife Donita live a very active lifestyle in Lennon, Michigan. They have two children and a beautiful granddaughter.
Sharing the Word of Christ through song, to people far and wide, is not a task to be taken lightly. Justified Quartet’s mix of phenomenal musical talent proves these guys are equipped to do just that!
In the tapestry of life, stories captivate us—tales of triumph, tragedy, and the human journey, marked by disappointments and discoveries, regrets and redemption. This is our story, a collective narrative. But in the soul-stirring melodies of Steve Ladd and his latest masterpiece, “Come Up Clean,” it transcends the realm of mere storytelling; it’s a testimony—a testament of grace and resilience that he ardently wishes to share with you.
From the tender age of five, growing up in Dayton, Ohio, Steve felt the divine call to minister through song. The son of an evangelist, Steve matured to become a beloved member of America’s most acclaimed Christian music groups, including Gold City, The Anchormen, and Anthem Edition. For over a decade, Steve has journeyed both domestically and internationally, ministering to audiences with inspirational songs like “Come Sunday Morning,” “One More River,” and “Preach the Word.” These harmonious melodies have transformed into personal anthems of encouragement that Steve carries wherever he goes, as he testifies to lives touched, healed, and uplifted.
On a personal note, Steve’s latest musical journey reflects his pursuit of freedom in recent years. It’s a powerhouse of music that transcends genres, a resonating harmony for all tastes. Professionally, he stands tall with accolades—the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, a “New Artist of the Year” nomination, a chart-topping Number One Single featuring the incomparable Jason Crabb, and a stellar record of seven Top 40 Singles. On release day, his album ascended to the elite Top 20 chart for iTunes Christian music. Furthermore, Steve’s heart extends to partnership with Childfund International, exemplifying the fusion of music and purpose.
While his extraordinary journey began within his family and burgeoned through award-winning quartets, his reemergence as a solo artist has been a testament to the Lord’s unwavering faithfulness. It radiates in his wife Maegan, his daily walk, and the very essence of his life. Steve Ladd’s odyssey is more than just a story; it’s a symphony of faith, resilience, and the power of testimony.
The Singing Echoes were established in 1969 with the original members consisting of Max, Lela, Lynn, Gary & Debbie Epperson. Many songs have been introduced by the group in its 45 year tenure, but most noteworthy are It's Enough, Think I'm Excited, Somebody's Here, and Wake Up to Sleep No More. Wake Up granted the Singing Echoes a Grammy Nomination for their arrangement of the song, the same arrangement popularly known throughout the industry as sang by almost any Southern Gospel quartet at one time or another. The group has either influenced or had a part in bringing to light many talented artists and songwriters such as Anthony Burger, Squire Parsons, Gerald Sweatman, Dee Gaskin, Tony Gore, and Darlene Fowler.
Few groups in the industry pack as many musicians and singers on the stage each night as this family group, nor can they possibly match the excitement level this group brings to each concert. Bill Bailey, a prominent Southern Gospel Music Promoter, once said..."You don't listen to the Singing Echoes, You EXPERIENCE The Singing Echoes!" The Tradition continues with Gary, Debbie, and Lynn with all their children traveling on the road with the Singing Echoes; Adam, Joshua, and Matthew - respectively. The fourth generation has been introduced through Joshua's son Jonah.
When you come to a Singing Echoes Concert, you can expect to "experience" a live band with some of the most talented musicians traveling on the road today, hear Spirit Filled singing peppered with heart filled testimonies from each member. They have been tagged as "The Most Exciting Group in Gospel Music." You be the judge.... Come "Experience The Singing Echoes."
The Heirborn Quartet was founded in 1993. Prior to 1993, the group traveled several years as the Glorybound Quartet. In 1993, while recording their second project at Mark V Studio, the producers suggested a name change. After much prayer and many names being tossed around, the name The Heirborn Quartet was selected. The name comes from the idea that we are born heirs of the King.
The group had its origins back many years ago in Rockmart, Georgia. Mark Garrett, current lead singer, and Mark Lumpkin, current tenor, formed a group with two childhood friends. After a short period of time, Mark Garrett's cousin took over the baritone position. With four stable parts, the group began to travel around to local churches, mainly doing revival appointments.
In 1987, the group added a bass guitar player and a drummer to go along with its pianist. Now traveling with a three piece band, the group began to focus on doing mainly weekend appointments. In 1990, the group's bass singer chose to leave to focus on his preaching ministry. That spring, Greg Gober joined the group as the new bass singer.
In 1993, the name change took place, as well as a personnel change. Filling the baritone position was Chris Barker. The group was now made up of Greg Gober, bass; Chris Barker, baritone; Mark Garrett, lead; and Mark Lumpkin, tenor. With the group now firmly intact, Heirborn began to embark on better recordings and set traveling to the weekends.
In 1994, Heirborn signed with famed Southern Gospel producer Eddie Crook on the Cedar Hill label. During two years with Cedar Hill, the group recorded two projects and released three singles.
In 1997, the group began producing its own projects with well-known engineer Danny Brown at Southern Sound in Knoxville, TN. The group has recorded several projects there with some of the top musicians in gospel music.
In 2000, Heirborn recorded its first live recording. This live CD and cassette was accompanied by another first for the quartet, a full length VHS tape. In 2003, Heirborn's tenth anniversary was celebrated with a second live recording. This event was a great milestone reached by the group. This event brought back former members of the group and was attended by almost one thousand close friends who have played a big part in Heirborn's success throughout the years. This recording produced a CD, a cassette, a VHS tape and another first for the group, a DVD.
Jason Taylor joined the group in late 2006 to sing baritone. Heirborn enjoyed four years with Jason before he left the group in January of 2012. Shortly after, as God would have it, the door opened for Chris Barker to return as baritone to The Heirborn Quartet. Now, Greg Gober, bass; Chris Barker, baritone; Mark Garrett, lead; and Mark Lumpkin, tenor are excited to see what the future has in store for Heirborn and can not wait to experiance the blessing God will bring.
Although many changes have taken place over the years, Heirborn has never lost their focus of what this is about. Heirborn’s focus is to uplift the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to try and bring the lost to the Lord.
If you have ever seen The Perrys in concert, you have undoubtedly sensed the power and conviction with which they sing. From the high-octane, hand-clapping hit, "I Wish I Could Have Been There," to the anointed anthem, "If You Knew Him," the Dove Award-winning group has been delivering soul-stirring performances across North America for nearly five decades. Their sound, unmistakable. Their calling, unarguable. Their performances, unforgettable. Their joy, unspeakable.
The Perrys—Libbi Perry Stuffle, Jared Stuffle, Dayton Gay, and Jason Gordon—have forged a deep sense of unity. This is due, in part, to the fires through which they have walked over the last few years. After battling a longterm illness, Tracy Stuffle, Libbi's husband and Perrys' esteemed bass singer, passed away on February 4, 2018. With unparalleled determination, Libbi and her beloved group have continued to heed the call to carry the Gospel to the multitudes.
Loved by gospel music fans around the world, The Perrys have earned many accolades over their illustrious career. In addition to their Dove Award for Song of the Year and countless Dove nominations, they have garnered numerous #1 songs and 15 Singing News Fan Awards, including the 3-time Favorite Mixed Group honor, 2-time Song of the Year, Favorite Album, as well as Libbi being named both a 2-time Female Vocalist of the Year and 9-time Favorite Alto of the Year.
A career spanning fifty three years, their commitment to the calling of God upon their lives has never been greater. "Now, more than ever," says Libbi, "we want to share the good news of Jesus Christ in song." The Perrys are looking toward the future with great expectation. One cannot help but be affected by their story of tragedy and triumph. The Perrys are living proof that God can work all things both for our good and for His glory. "Yes, life is tough," Libbi shares, "and we all have battles—some we win and some we lose—but we can choose joy."
In the book of Nehemiah, we read that the joy of the Lord is our strength. The Perrys are living proof of this promise, and they are stepping into this new season of ministry still declaring God's faithfulness, still proclaiming His praises, and still choosing joy.
Years ago a group of friends met just to see what it would “sound like” as a gospel trio and possibly begin a ministry singing songs for Him!!! With the intention to sing a few church services, gospel events and wherever the call came from this chance meeting is now celebrating their 31st Anniversary of singing gospel music.
New Ground is enjoying gospel music without compromise. It’s been an extraordinary over a quarter of a century, with 3500 sings behind them — from their hometown of Scottsboro, Alabama to Juneau, Alaska, then onwards to Scotland with many states and countries in between, the group remains true today and as they continue to look ahead for more opportunities to further His Name in song!!!
Dale and Robbie Maxwell, founding members of New Ground, are still going strong in their belief that the Lord appointed this union to carry His Word thru music.
They are joined by David Owens, who is celebrating 30 years with New Ground.
